Hi everyone.
I just installed an HDFURY2 and GAMMA-X and am attempting to do a full setup on my projector.
I have a Runco 980 Ultra with point convergence board. I believe this is similar to the NEC 9 PG-Extra.
I have a stewart screen 72x40.5
I built my home theater and physically mounted (hung) and setup this projector back in 2003.
The physical geometry I believe is correct and the Green CRT was centered to the center of the screen.
When I started the setup today, I was surprised to see that the CRTs were centered horizontally 1 3/4 inches to the right of the center of the screen. Vertically, they were bang on.
Since the image was pretty good, either I did the original alignment that way by mistake, or I am missing something now.
Adjust-Convergence-Static
CRT-R H -4 was -5
CRT-R V -27 was -29
CRT-G H 0 was 0
CRT-G V 0 was 0
CRT-B H +15 was +15
CRT-B V -19 was -18
To "center" an actual image from satellite or DVD I need to:
Operate-Position-Shift H -78 V 0
Can anyone explain to me what I am doing wrong, or how this could have happened?
Also, if I continued with the "center" being 1 3/4" to the right as if it was centered, what problems would I run into?
Thanks....Wayne
