Has anyone had any experience with the replacement service remote sold by remotes.com that Curt references on the site? I bought one, but many of the critical buttons (RED, GREEN, etc) don't send the right sigal/code. I've spent countless hours reseraching and preparing my HT setup (credit most to this site) and have everything in place. Now I'm at a dead standstill because of this remote.
I don't want to send the remote back just to get another one that has the same issues if this is a common problem for these remotes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a bunch off another site and they were the original ones. I didn't know that remotes/com had an aftermarket one.. Seems to me though that several others have bought from remotes.com and didn't say they had an issue. Maybe it's defective?

Would a Runco DTV-852 setup remote work? The DTV-852 is a Zenith PRO-900x.
There is one for sale on the bay.
