Playing with a Marquee 8500 that I have here, and the phase control won't work. The on-screen value goes up or down but the image doesn't move, it just jumps around a lot when adjusted, always ending up in approximately the same place. Same behavior for H. Phase and V. Phase. I have boards I can swap, but any ideas? The rest of the PJ seems to work great.

Also - I've seen two 8500's now with the older-style, non-pigtail HDM. I thought that style was the 8000/9000 boards, and that the x500 series all had pigtails?

TIA,
Ben

Hello

Try another control board or deflection processor (large board mounted on top of control board).

Thanks Tim, will do. I figured it might be, since H and V were affected equally and it's phase and not raster movement. I'll let you know what I find.

Check to see if the H width works over 50. Whenever I put an 8000 deflection board into an 8110/8500, that's what I saw. Width worked to 50, then stopped.
