I just received a Sony VPH 1272 for free but know little about electronics. When I power it up it shuts down within one or two seconds. I get an error code 20. What does this mean and how can I fix it.

Error code twenty is described as "power-down"...ummm okkk apparently not very helpful lol.

I saw that in the service manual and thought I must be stupid for not knowing how to diagnose this. Thank you for the support.
