It's 6:40 PM Saturday on the east cost. What time is it in China??? About 6:40 AM on Saturday or Sunday Laughing

It depends on what part of the city you're in.

I can't remember what city it is over there, but the 24 hour time zone splits right down the middle. In one half of hte city it's 24 hours later than the other one.

Apparently you eventually get used to it..

That could not be a city in China.
I read that China has only one time zone for the entire country.
Also, the international dateline is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Try this "meeting planner" tool. I set it up to show the times on the east coast, mountain time, west coast, and Beijing. When it's 6:40pm Saturday on the east coast, it's 7:40am in Beijing.

Apparently blue_z is right, and China is under a single time zone (since the Communists dictated it in 1949) -- even though it covers the equivalent of 5 time zones. Yow. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_in_China
