|
|
I recently went to check on HD DVD titles on DeepDiscount.com and it looks like their supply is drying up. I looked on Amazon.com and it looks to be the same case. Anyone know of any other good sources to buy new? I'm not much for buying used after non-collectors have handled them -- fingerprints, dirty discs and cases, scratched discs, etc. Though I know this had to happen sooner than later. Too bad I didn't take advantage of the bargains DeepDiscount had going on there for a while. Maybe buying used on Amazon.com is the way to go now for getting HD DVDs.
I've had a PS3 for around 8 months but I only have 3 Blu titles. I'm still waiting for Blu-ray to take off how it should have as soon as HD DVD got fitted with concrete shoes and pushed off the bridge by Warner. I'm still not overly impressed by the titles. I do need to pick-up The Godfather trilogy, Kill Bill 1 and 2, and the James Bond sets. Hey, HBO, how's about putting the rest of the Sopranos on Blu-ray AND charging less than $1000 for it? Hopefully with the price cuts on stand-alone Blu-ray players as of late will be a good catalyst for more BD titles at lower prices.

Hey! Be careful; I still have couple 8 tracks carrying cases full of 8-tracks. Come to think of it, I have like maybe 5 4-track tapes.
Anyone remember that player before the 8-track?
(I'm such a eff'ing pack rat!!!)

Was the 4 track about the size of a paper back book just a little bigger?

In the dash of my dad's 1969 Buick Electra 225..... the original stereo/8 track player.
In the player is the 8 track version of The Blackbyrds "City Life" 1975....
Who remembers "Rock Creek Park"???
He's also got Mandrill, WAR and Isley Brothers 3+3 album.... So i'm not really hating.....

Our local Fry's seems to have quite a few of them for sale in their discount bins...
But then, that's the great part (perhaps the only one) about living in the Dallas area - we have FOUR Fry's in the area...
