Hello,
I bought a Dwin HD500 with only 625 hours a few month ago.
The problem with this unit is that the green tube (Toshiba T180 AR2) has wear.
The original owner forgot to switch the projector off and so "No video source" burned in.
That's the problem with this quite units.

Has anybody experience in changing tubes on a Dwin HD500.
Is it possible to change the tube for a novoise?
As a reference a take the barco description on curt's side.
Any additional tips and hints?

Is it a problem only to change the green tube or is it better to change all the tubes.
I can get the green tube in condition 9 for 190 Euro and the complete set for aprox. 450 Euro.

best regards
Markus

It's not hard to do, but there's no info on the site here yet. Basically the tube/lens assembly comes out as one piece, then you transfer the yokes/magnetics from the old tube onto the new tube and reinstall.
