Hi all,
just got my new EXT-FULLHD, hooked my denon 3910 dvd to it though hdmi and vga to 5-bnc to my sony d50 projector. picture looks good but its gotten smaller and has moved to the left .
i cant even move it enoughf with picture shift to get it centered again.
if i change back to the old setup with a s-vhs cable, the picture is dead center again without no use of picture shift!
why does it do that, and how do i fix it?
best regards bent

What resolution do you have the Denon set up to output? 1080i would probably be a good match for the D50, but try 480p and 720p and see how they work, too. You'll probably have to do most of a full setup with the addition of a new device (FULLHD) with new resolution/refresh.
Going from S-video to EXT-FULLHD HDMI will give you a HUGE upgrade in terms of picture quality, but it may take some experimentation to get everything set up properly.

Something you can try is changing the internal jumpers in the Moome box for synch polarity...
I did that to try and overcome another issue, and as a side effect, it centered my image and made it come out the correct aspect ratio on my monitor...
I think I went from ++ synch by default to -+, but I can't remember for sure... You have to open up the Moome box to do that, there is a manual in .pdf format somewhere showing the location of the jumpers for synch polarity.

the denon outputs 720p, looks much better than the rest. i have done most of a full setup on it and played around with it. made the pic much bigger and shifted it to the right(as much as possible) now its only 2-3 inches of my screen that doesn't display the picture.
but i still don't have any clue to why this is happening?
why would i mess around on the inside to shift polarity, whats the difference(except from the fact that it didn't correct my problem) from just using the SW1 pins on the outside?
It doesn't seem to make any difference if i change them from the default setting to just about any other possibility?? i don't understand any of this.
