It has been mentioned in this forum (or the other one) a few times.. IIRC, it's basically a 1271 with special Nikon-made motorized lenses? The lenses seemed pretty neat, but the projector itself isn't anything special these days.
It was made for use with the Sony "HDVS" line of high-def equipment.

I did find out that it is only 300 lumens, 30mhz, pretty rare I guess. Made in the 80's?

I'd guess right around 1990.

Yeah, that was a really impressive machine. Late 80's and capable of 1080i. I think it was actually an EM focused machine. Spatztech sold one with a modification to do 1080p altough I've never seen any proof of that.
I think it will accept component also!
Just imagine you had an 1080i capable muse system in the basement!

I think it is 1987 vintage with 9" ES CRTs. If I had to guess it would be a tube like the SD-146a but i have no proof of that. A guy just got one on the CRT home theater facebook group so maybe we can ask him.

…. Tubes (Sony 09MH)/lenses (Nikkon): Are insane sharp, I have problems getting my Ultra with a PT22-19 hirez there! But but but but: The bandwidth is far too low.
