Hi
I gave my audio a test with one of those "THX optimizers" you find on certain DVD's and while doing the pink noise test on all the speakers i did not get any sound out of the Subwoofer, when i run the internal test out of my amp I do.
I also did the In & Out of phase test and all the front speakers gave me the In & Out Sound but when it came to the rears all I got was the In Phase Sound.
Why is this do yo think, all the speakers check out when doing the Amp's internal Test?
Cheers

How is the device connected to the amp and is it set to the correct decoding method? It sounds like a connection error or a wrong selection somewhere there.

If it's connected via SPDIF, then your DVD player is probably setup to output 2-ch PCM instead of discrete DD/DTS. Go into your DVD player's setup menu and configure it to output "bitstream" - NOT PCM - and you should be good to go.
