I'm proposing on setting up a PC to my NECPG9, do I need anything special besides the cable to do this?
I've attached a pic showing this.

just an RGBHV breakout cable with a HD-15 (VGA) or DVI-I plug on the PC end and 5 BNC plugs on the PJ end

VGA typically carries an RGBHV signal (can be set to others as well using e.g. Powerstrip). DVI-I carries the same analog pins as an HD-15 output

I found that a dual head video card made setting up the HTPC a lot faster when I was building and tuning blocks. Are you planning to play HD content?
