After noticing gray scale was too blue. I checked the gain settings for each tube and the blue was at max. I then decided to reset each tube to it's factory default setting . I cleared all service and user settings etc and reset to the factory defaults and was surprised to see that the blue defaults to MAX. Is this normal?

Also, understanding that the condition of the tubes effect these settings, so know two G70s will be set exactly the same but just to get an idea and a place to start, Can anyone share their gain settings for each tube?

One last question, Is there a way to restore all settings to factory defaults at once, similar to the red button on an ECP 4XXX?

Thanks!

Based on the manual Green is set to MAX and Blue Red adjusted accordingly.

This is also my personal experience. With my last grey scale calibration at the end I tweaked green to ~250 or so!

Thank you.
I didn't write the numbers down but when I reset, Blue goes to max and green and red are well below 250.
Strange.

Strange.

I remember an earlier post that said the 12XX series PJ used to set Blue to MAX.
