Hi
I have a large Home theater and have collected Very good but different brands of speakers over the years and the front soundstage does not sound that great between the L, cen and R.
I would like to keep my centre and i am thinking of buying another 2 of the same centers for the left and right channels.
I will have the L and R laying down the same as the centre.
This should be the best way to get seemless sound panning across the front, What do you think?
Cheers

The best soundfield you can achieve is by having 3 identical speakers across the front, though don't lay speakers on their sides that weren't meant for that purpose. The dispersal pattern won't be right.
I'd love to replace my center speaker with a tower speaker identical to my left/right speakers, but that would mean completely re-doing the HT as I'd need a perforated screen as my L/R speakers are about 5 feet heigh.

Kal, do you have a thread somewhere with pics of your HT from build to finish?
