My Barco 1208/2 just developed a new issue. After a few minutes of operating fine, the tubes go dark. The light on the back of the PJ stays green. The fans are still running. If I place the PJ into standby, and then select the proper input. The tubes will come back on for a minute or two, and then go dark again. Anyone have an idea what and where the problem is. I have a second 1208 available for parts here. Confused

OK, I checked the boards and found a red light on the EHT board. Replaced it with a spare. PJ worked for a couple minutes then went dark. The red light is now on the spare EHT board. Any ideas out there as to what to try now?

Probably the EHT-Quadrupler that has gone bad. Other possibility is the EHT splitter, but the Quad is first choice.
Swap it and you'll be fine.

Thanks r.bauer. You were right on. Switched out the quadrupler and the PJ is back to life! Thumbs Up
