Just got a G90 about 6 weeks ago. I love it!!! Today, it wouldn't power up. The LED error code is a backward C and 9. So it looks like ]9. Can any G90 folks tell me what this error indicates?
The manual just says look up the error code and contact a qualified service professional. I've sent a note to one, but I thought someone on may know.
Thanks for any clues anyone can provide!

Yes, it is indeed 6C. I have it hung on the ceiling, and realized I was reading it upside down. Thanks for the quick reply, I'll check this link.

This happens on my G90 when it gets to cold. Pull the back panels off and pull out the boards in the back of the projector to make sure everything is seated.
After I put it back together, it fires up everytime.

Hey thanks. That's interesting. It turns out that the error is 6C. I was reading it upside down, doh!!! So it is CRT abnormality. Yikes. Talked with my tech who facilitated this sale, and he let me know that my tube was cracked. Sure enough, the brand new green tube was cracked!! He's going to replace it, as I bought it just 6 weeks ago. And he's just a very honorable guy.
He's baffled by this, and no one really seems to know how or why it happens occasionally with the G90. I'll be getting an uninteruptible power supply for it, and pray it won't crack again...
All that said G90s Rock!!!!!!!!

It might have something to do with Sony Maxxing out the Green gain from the factory.

All that said G90s Rock!!!!!!!! | I had a UPS on my G90 and then had a weird convergence issue where the blue grid would dance one pixel (or scan line) to the left, then one pixel up, then one pixel to the right, then one pixel down, repeat every 5 seconds or so.
Drove me crazy for weeks. I thought it was a cap failing on a board. Then Cliff visited and we finally figured out it was the UPS. Disconnected it and everything was rock solid again.
