You need XGLC tubes, obviously, lenses, and top/bottom mount plates to do it. Also, the front plastic lens shroud of the case is different. You can do it, but I doubt it would be cheaper considering the falling prices of projectors nowadays...

Mwhahaha
I've done two now. It's better to do a 751 or 852 than the earlier ones - you will end up with basically a stock XG LC.
If you convert an earlier one you'll have to cut a couple of tiny tabs on the chassis, and the electronics won't match a stock XG LC - but it will still look great.
It's probably easier to find XG LC chassis in the US and swap the bare tubes, although that is most of the work.
It took me the better part of a year to find all the bits to do two projectors, and I had to get brackets made for the 2nd one (I have CAD models of them if needed).

Mark, this is the first time I can recall you ever posting pictures of your projectors. Very nice! Cute kids too!
I have to also thank you for referring me to JRobbo's page a while back. His pointers on tube changing and other procedures were very helpful to me a few months back.

John it would probably be easier to try and get a LC chassis as Mark says
if you do it, try and get ahold of a set of the pimpin HD-134's, my 1352 wouldn't be what it is without them
