It sounds to me like you're using the wrong adjustment, SHIFT moves the image within the raster while the center adjust moves the raster on the tubeface. Try using the center adjustment in the service mode and see if it fixes your problem, you may be running out of shift range.

What's your source? Some sources will be trouble... The left-shift problem at 1080p can be tricky.

You may need to increase the size of your raster (relative to your screen) to give you more range, by using the "size" control.

Ilias if you want to do 1080p out with no HDCP problem you will need one of Moomes products, either his IFB hdmi card for the sony's: http://www.curtpalme.com/SONY_IFB-HD.shtm

or his HD-MUX DVI repeater: http://www.curtpalme.com/MUX-HD.shtm

Also i do not think the VP30 passes 1080p just 1080i

I'm not familiar with the Vp30,s But there should be size and position controls to adjust the pictures size, or you may have to use the sony size and position controls, or a combination of both, the VP30 and the sony.
Maybe someone who has a VP30 can help you more, any one here have more experiance with these units?

I don't know if it will go 75Hz but it will do 1080P at 72Hz.

Actually I have an Ampro 4000 but that screen shot was from my Sony G520P 21" CRT monitor. I love the on screen clock rate display.
