I have tried in vain to centre adjust using the remote control and on the PJ itself. I can adjust VF and HF ok but cannot get to adjust VC and HC which are way off. Does anyone have any advise

You are using the "service centering adjustment" right? The standard centering buttons only adjust the fine positioning.

Yes from service menu! now try the menu of DVDO VP30! Well all that is difficulty for me!!!!!
But the truth is that the SONY G70 have a nice picture in 1080p !!! now must see all my movies again!!! and my STAR TREK too!!!
