This past week I have been viewing BD movies via my HTPC and the projected image has gone dark for about 2 seconds and then the image returns to normal. This has happened 3 times over 7 days. I did hear a faint click/pop each time, so I am thinking HV leak. Is there a way to run the projector without the tubes lit so I can look for arching, while not risking tube damage. I do have extra parts for diagnosis and would like any suggestions you may offer.

Thanks

Sure, pull the CRT sockets from the backs of the tubes.
