The focus of my Nec 6PG-6000 on the far left and right sides, as well as the corners is abnormally bad, imo. It is not an optical issue, as I can look into the lenses and see the raster has poor focus. The center focus is great. It occurs on all 3 CRT's. I max out the corner focus control, but it is still pretty bad. Is this a focus board problem or?

Could be the focus board, does adjusting it change anything. Could be that the astig needs adjusting.

Most likely a bad focus board. Just repaired two this morning.
