Few days ago a friend of mine bring his VW60 to make a test in my Home Theater.
Since he's a CRT guy too, I first fired my 1271 and had a demo. Then he fired his VW60 and was setting it up.
I turned off my 1271 with its remote. Funny, the 1271 remote turned off both 1271 AND VW60! 
It's great that a 20 years piece of tecnology can drive a 2008 digital projector!
