This is a dumb question. But I'm moving to a smaller flat, and there's just one room where I can put the PJ in. There's a catch though.. The room's so tall that ceiling mount is out of the question, so is the floor mount, because of the limited space. There will be a large loft bed though, so I was thinking to "ceiling mount" the PJ to it's bottom (!). No prob's there, but the screen would have to be on top of the window, that would mean the top of the screen is a bit higher (maybe 10 inches) than the PJ Confused

So my question is, would it be a smart move to tilt the back end of the PJ down, so the picture would go higher on the wall? Will I run into focus and convergence problems?

You will have to tilt the projector some to shoot it at the screen, however you may run into focus problems if the projector is shooting too far off-axis. You may be well served to tilt the screen downward so that the projector will be shooting at a smaller angle.

Can you post some pictures of the room?

I will post pictures when I get the flat to the state when there's something to show.. Smile
It's basically a very simple room, 4,3M x 2,9M. So very small too. But should be enough to fit the Barco.

You will be fine. I have the same PJ and have a ceiling mount. The screen top is maybe 14" below the lowest part of the lenses. Projector is tilted to suit.
Screen width is 90", 16:9. Running 720p and 1080i
Just centre the raster and then move it as low (or in you're case high) as you dare. project a video source at you're intended resolution. Do a rough geometry and convergence. Then shift you're image as high as you can in that raster. Then tilt the rear of the projector until it fills you're screen.
Then do a complete focus/geometry/convergence. You may have to do this a few times, but aim to get the picture on you're screen with the least amount of tilt possible.
Be careful moving the raster up. Too high and you risk cracking the tube. Read the setup tips here on raster centering first.
Also, don't shift you're image up to the max, leave 3 or 4 clicks for fine tuning different resolutions.

Thanks for the tips. I guess I will then setup my PJ in that room when we get to move our things there. Right now we're doing a renovation there. The relocation date will be approx in the middle of July... still so many things to do before Smile
