There is an aperture setting in XG menu with +3db, flat and -3db. How does this aperture affecting the picture quality and how to set it right?
Thanks

I think it should be flat from memory - it's a peaking control. It's in the manual somewhere.
I have always meant to have a play with it, but keep forgetting.

It is in the page 3 of information manuel. Default setting is at Flat. Hit Enter to select +3db or -3db. I played around and noticed very subtle change to the image's edge that it looks slightly sharper.(can't remember it was set to +3db or -3db) That's why it is called aperture which is similar to camera's aperture setting.
