Saw the below ad on Craiglist if anyone wants to run by and take a look. I have meetings all morning so can't check it out. If it's a G90 you owe me dinner.

I wonder what time the garbage is picked up? Besides, if it is like garbage pickup where I live, they won't pickup anything like this anyway!

Probably a 1272 or something like that.

But, too bad I didn't have a bit more notice, that is only 7 miles from my house. But since it is Tuesday, no time go get there now before trash!

I'm guessing it's a 10xx... belongs in the recycling. I practically had to pay to have someone take the ones I had.

They will pick it up as "large trash" if this is his large trash day.

You know, a Craig's list ad like that would make for a good practical joke.

A LOOOOONG time ago, back when 21" CRT monitors went for between one and two kilobucks and hard disks were dollars-per-megabyte, I responded to an ad in the local WantAdvertiser... Several high-end computer accessories were listed for absurdly short money: $200 for an NEC 6FGx monitor, multi-hundred meg SCSI hard disks for tens of dollars... etc.

Of course I called. And called. And called... and finally got thru.
To a secretary at an elementary school, who was to the point of cursing a blue fire about the ex-boyfriend that posted the bogus ad with her work number!

A girl did that to me in a bar many, many years ago. Got home and called the number she gave me - at about 3AM. An ex-boy friend answered. He was not happy! I was so drunk that I called again, just to be sure I hadn't dialed the wrong number. He was especially unhappy the 2nd time! Mr. Green
