Heads up:
Moome has temporarily reduced the price of his Sony IFB-HD HDMI card by $40 to $395 for the latest batch only. As always, quantities are limited!
This card adds a digital HDMI and analog component (YCrCb) input to your Sony CRT projector. It gives you the best image quality possible by providing a direct digital path from HDMI devices such as Blu-ray players and HD cable/satellite boxes, as well as support for older legacy component video devices.

As soon as he makes another one that fits a NEC ISS switcher, I'm in. Otherwise, KMA

It has one HDMI input and one component input. You can add a cheap HDMI switcher before it and off you go.
What kind of projector do you have? If you intend to put this in a 1271 switcher, keep in mind the digital output from the Moome card was intended to be plugged into the projector, directly, for a very short RGBHV run. I found with mine, in the switcher, I had to add an Extron box to pump up the signal in order to get a watchable picture on my Ampro. I was running 8 foot of coaxial cable from my switcher to my projector.
YMMV

It would be used with a 1272 sony. It's ceiling mounted with cables hidden in the attac, so I'd have to use the sony 1271 switcher. Doesn't sound like the card would do me much good.

Just bought my THIRD Moome IFB-HD card. I've setup a couple CRT projector theaters for friends lately. They got interested in having a theater after watching movies in mine. When they find out the Moome card is what I use in my theater for HD goodness, they want a Moome card too. I really hope I NEVER have to live without a Moome IFB-HD. I know there are a lot of options out there, but for my money the Moome IFB-HD has won 3 separate times. Thanks again Mr Moome

I've seen his theater and it is awesome. The picture quality is amazing! Way better than the Fury on my 1272 by a long shot.

I wish I understood why Moome stopped making ISS solutions. I'm sure the absolute best results come from direct HDMI connection at the projector but how much better than it would be at the switcher. With multiple sources to choose from both analog and digital, it makes sense to do it all back at the switcher. From a integration standpoint, less is better. Adding HDMI matrix switchers adds more cables, more connections to fail, and more programming. My ISS (actually two of them) is connected to a whole house solution that not only sends SD and HD video to my projector but also video security system that monitors the exterior of my home which can be accessed on screen in the theater with the push of one button. I have a Moome ISS card in my system right now and the only noise in the system is from the ISS's power supply which generates a tiny amount of video noise that is only visible looking directly into the lens and can't be seen on screen.

Well if it help's the swithcr passed componet from the Moome card just fine. I just needed to add the Extron box to make the AmPro happy. It might work fine with your Sony. I did have the 1271 switcher with a moome DVI card ( 2005 ) running into a Sony 1272 via RGBHV and the image looked fine.
Some projector's like a 'hotter' signal. Im my testing the Ampro was one of them. The Sony 1272 didn't need a boost. It was fine without it.
Even if you find the picture's to dark with the IFB card in the switcher you could always add an extron box later. I got mine for $75 with every concievable conector for video.
