Gotta go over tonight and help a buddy set up his new (my old) 1272. I never did the spring mod as it was my second machine and doesn't really need to be done for a 96" wide screen - it's about right with the "M" spacers. I was thinking about using nuts and cushioned washers and locking it from the back side since he has kids (and lots of other kids around)...
Anybody know off-hand what those nuts are? M4? M6? Anyone?

The ceiling mount bolts are M8x1.25 thread size and 13mm hex head size.
The lens mount nuts are M5x.4 thread size and the hex is 8mm

Mr Kruger, please change your signature as I have been to the mountain and viewed what is hanging from your ceiling. Pretty sure it gets no more real than that

Hahahaha... okay, I'll think of something better. How's my old 1272? I don't really miss it much.

Thank you, kind sir!!! You saved me from buying a hardware I won't need. Your timing is also perfect, as I was moments from heading out to the hardware store.
Cheers!
