Several weeks ago I hooked up my VP 30 Processor (using it as a basic switcher) to the Moome EX-HD box (second batch)and using a Marquee 8500 and Blu-ray BD 10 player. Everything went fine for several weeks until the VP 30's power supply died. I ordered another one from DVDO. Hooked up everything just as before and now the VP 30's blue light indicating a HDCP problem just keeps blinking, and nothing I have tried has resolved the communication problem from processor to EX-HD box. My dilemma is that I don't really want to disconnect the Moome box from the system, but I don't want to disconnect the VP 30 either. The VP 30 costs a lot more then the Moome box, and it's a lot more flexible in the system. I'd like to keep the system HDMI, but if I can't resolve my communication error, then I'll have to go back to component. Is there anything I could try before I give up; I'd appreciate any feedback that anyone can provide. Thank you.

Sounds like the VP 30 is not working correctly. Or you are missing something in the setup menu.
Never owned a VP 30 though...

Maybe it's the order in which you turn everythin on? I know handshaking can be picky like that.

Also, try factory resetting your VP30, and then also try disconncting the power, hold the menu and exit buttons down and then reconnect the power while still holding the buttons, you should see the vp30 do a hard reset (i think, at least that's how you do it on the 50 series)

Thank you Gino for replying to my dilemma. I was also thinking about going back to factory reset or default on the VP 30. I didn't want to have to end up doing that as all the previous settings on the unit will have to be reset. At least I did write them down a while ago. Will give everything a try again tonight. Will let you know if it works. Again, thanks.

Thank you AnalogRocks and to Gino and Tom W. who took their time to reply to this post. I did try Gino's suggestion of a hard reset on the VP 30 and had tried all sorts of turn-ons, but I have to say that the problem with this lack of communication was my own fault. You see when I took off the old power supply, I took out the VP 30 just in case it had to go back to Anchor Bay for repair work. When I hooked up the new power supply, the HDMI cable from the Out of the VP 30 was accidently inserted into my HD-DVD player. Both HD-DVD and VP 30 HDMI cables are the same type so it was easy to understand how the mistake was made. When I realized what I had done, I had to chuckle. They always say...check your connections first.
