I have just received the G70, after checking for tube damage and condition I fired it up only to get a error 29 message this could have been caused with unseating the B board after the 3500 mile trip I will check tommorow in daylight. Other than reseating has anyone else experienced this error and whats the best remedy.

Mike,
I didn't even know what the B board was - I had to look it up. It's because I don't have one! Curt's G70 layout says the B board is just the line doubler. You could always just pull it since you're probably not going to use it, anyway.
The G70 is pretty easy to tear into... I think before you even try to fire it up again, you should just pull and re-seat every board you can easily access. I did that after mine made it's long trip on a bouncy truck, and it fired right up.

SC the B board is th RGBHV input board which has a daughter board attached for the component input. I am going to pull out today and check connections.

I have just pulled all of the boards and re-seated and still no result. The projector goes for about 10 seconds the fans are all working, but then shuts down showing error 29

That's a common failure. I've had about a 75% success rate in repairing them.. if someone hasn't butchered the board before I get it. They are complex boards, the last two I got in from the same guy were unrepairable. Let me know if you want to send it in.
