I picked up two Barco Graphics 1208 projectors and a Draper electric screen last night. Both PJs have snowy white tubes. I haven't had time to read through everything on this site about the 1208 but I did notice there is a built-in quadroupler for video and svideo. I'm wondering if I should run an svideo cable to the PJ (when it's installed) for standard definition FiOs. My HDfury works great for the HD channels at 1080i, but when I switch to the SD channels it's crap. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Also - who has a Graphics 1208? Are they noisy? Will I need to build a hush box?

CRTs show so much clarity that all SD channels will look like crap. Try Svideo, but the internal upscaling in the HD box should be as good as the internal quadrupler, which I've never liked.

TEh 1208s are about as quiet as it gets. IMHO anyways.

Might I ask what you paid for these?

Rule # 1: NEVER ask what someone paid for a surplus projector(s). It will only piss others off..Very Happy
