Recently, when powering up my Marquee, I can hear a relay clicking 3 or 4 times before the high voltage power-up. It takes a few moments longer for the PJ to fire up (while the relay is clicking) but the PJ works fine after that. Any suggestions as to the culprit?

Hello

If Mike Parker changed certain caps on your VIM it would account for a delayed startup.

Athanasios,
Thank you for the advice, however, I already found out about that one shortly after I mounted my PJ (at which time I was crushed to learn that the law of gravity applies to my and my PJ).

Tim,
Thanks (as usual you are spot on).

I suspected the caps but didn't want to embarrass myself if they turned out to not be the cause (so I didn't mention them Embarassed ). What I did was take 1/2 of the LVPS that had the cap mod and couple that with the other 1/2 from the spare I've been using, just to see if I could salvage mods that were done. My new question to you, could the extra time in charging the caps (along with the clickety click of the relays) result in problems down the road?

best regards,
/Jody
