I’m a bit confused – thought I have a 1208s. But looking at the G2 adjustment procedure I think it is a 1208 Sad

Chassis is marked 1208s
Art.nr. R9000897
Ser.nr. 1080207

But:
There are non G2 adjustment settings in Service mode.
Service identification: 1208 – serial no. 1080207
Soft.version (firmware) 7.11

Neckboard has short-circuit pins for G2 adjustment

tubes are marked: 1208s

Is this a 1208 modified with some 1208s parts??

1208s have black box neck boards, those don't have G2 leds and menu.

1208s/2 have new neck boards and G2 leds and menu.

Thank's Ile

I was a bit worried - but as an amateur I find the Barco documentation a bit inconsistent.

You might open up the controller and see if the numbers on the label match the rest of the boards also what does the sticker say on the eprom. Could be the eprom was changed out or the controller. The sticker on the eprom should say 1208s.

I have seen two 1208s models and they are really more like a 1208/2 than the later 1208s/2. Basically they appears to be a 1208/2 with Sony tubes, which means older black box neckboards, older G2 adjustment and older firmware. They are fairly rare machines.
