I have a chance to buy a runco 1100 with 4200 hrs on it. The seller says the red and blue are nearly tens and the green is an eight. I'm unfamiliar with the barco/runco models, what should I be looking for?

See here for a model cross reference: http://www.curtpalme.com/Runco_Model_CrossRef.shtm

It'll then point you in the right direction as to exactly what you're looking at....

The cross reference page says it has a "scanrate limited to that of the Barco Data 1209s" I didnt see a Barco Data 1209s listed. How much different is it than a BG? The seller said it only has RGBHV inputs.

I don't know what the scanrate of a BD1209s is as it doesn't really exist. Nobody gave me the actual scan rate to put in there so I had to use what I had.

The only diff is the scanrate limitation. Both are high enough to do 1080p/60.

It CAN'T only have RGBHV inputs. It'll also have port3, composite and S-video. The only input you should be using however is the RGBHV input.

It sounded like he may not have known everything there is to know about it so I'm sure it has the other inputs also. I guess I would be using my hdfury for the input from my hdmi switcher.

Right into the RGBHV input (port 5). Sounds like a plan!

Runco 1100 is a very nice 9" CRT based on the Data 1209S with Runco mods. Very sharp bright picture. Limited to 1920 x 1080P60. If higher scan rate is important you could "mod" the unit to do 72. It has LUG's for tubes and some pretty good late model lens's.
