My Moome ISS card and my Sapphire HD2600XT video card hate each other.

It doesn't work for interlaced res's at all (it did with a 6800GT), and the best I can get with a progressive res is a blurry image - similar to a LCD monitor set at the wrong res. It looks "scaled" for lack of a better description.

This videocard has a dual link DVI output, fitted with an ATi HDMI dongle (includes audio - but not used obviously). I'm pretty sure the 6800GT was a single link DVI card.

The other issue (with both videocards) is that there's some funny business going on with the black level/back porch/syncs or something and my 24" CRT monitor can't clamp black properly - a white background with black text ends up grey on the Monitor, but the XG is fine, it has more robust clamping. Still an issue though.

I know Kai has the same Sapphire HD2600XT videocard as me and has better, but not perfect results. Is anyone else using a similar setup?

My ISS card works fine with a Toshiba HD-A1, so it's not completely broken.

I can't see it being an EDID issue, as I can disable EDID checking in Catalyst.

I've tried various leads. HDMI to HDMI. DVI to HDMI. Same result.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Does Moome check this forum?

I'm going to try a HD-Fury and see if that works, just to make 100% certain it's the Moome card.

I'm moderately pissed. This Moome card cost me $400 and I can't use the bloody thing with my PC.
