Well, I no longer need to worry about my Runco1101 (Barco1209s rebrand) not doing 1080P hooked up to my ps3 as it no longer powers on at all. Shocked

This is what I know so far. It powers on into standby and that's about it. I turned it off, unplugged it, plugged it back in and powered in on. It comes up into standby mode (little red light on the back) and nothing I do will make it go into operational mode (green light). I was the last one to use it a few days ago and put it in standby. I've tried my remote and the built-in remote in the back with no luck. It wasn't on and shut down suddenly or anything like that, it simply won't turn on all of a sudden. Sad

So, how do I go about finding out what's wrong with it? I thought about change the dip switch that tells it to power up into operational mode instead of standby. I figured I better check before doing that, plus I don't think it is going to help. Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated. I haven't had any problems with it since I set it up last summer and this is beyond my skill level at this point. Question My first inclination is to roll it down the driveway and try popping the clutch, but I don't think it has a clutch.

Thanks.

Well, when I went to remove the panel where I think the fuses are, I remembered I ought to unplug it even though I turned it off with the power switch about an hour ago. Typically I have just been turning it off standby. Is that bad? I ask because I decided to power it on one more time and try the standby button on the hardwired remote and it came on. Very Happy Maybe the down time helped it a little?

So anyway, it seems to be ok for now, but I think I will be turning the power off completely in the future.

Glad to hear all is ok now. Better leave your projector powered off when not in use.
