Hi

Currently setting up my first HTPC to feed my 1292 a decent HD meal (Link to thread)
I haven't really used it much over the last 12mths did a very rough dial in and only watched a few movies using my momitsu so now it's time to get serious.

I'm using a 92" 16:9 screen.

What res/timing are you running with you 1292?

Any suggestions?

Craig A

I'm feeding my 1292Q 1080p @ 48Hz and 1080p @ 60Hz, depending on the source, and displaying to a 72" wide matte-white screen. My sources are a Toshiba HD-A1 HD DVD player, Sony PS3, and MyHD for OTA HDTV. I no longer use the HTPC for playing DVDs. That's the HD DVD player's job now. Then again, I cannot remember the last time I watched a DVD since getting HD DVD and Blu-ray. My sources get fed into a Lumagen VisionHDP, then out to the 1292Q. I'm hoping to add a HDfury to the mix so that Blu-ray will look better using the PS3's HDMI output instead of the component video output. I have no complaints on the HD DVD's component video out, though I'll still try its HDMI out just to see what it's like. I may also upgrade the MyHD for DVI output to the VisionHDP.
