It is inexpensive, fast, with excellent low-light capabilities, and it offers
accuracy that equals or exceeds the
Display 2/LT.

What is the DTP-94 PRO?
The DTP-94 is a relatively low cost
mass-market device whose tolerances are looser than what you would find with
more expensive professional color analyzers.
Our ChromaPure partner has developed a version of the DTP-94 exclusively for
CurtPalme.com called the DTP-94 PRO that offers substantially enhanced accuracy
across multiple display types.
This is the same enhancement that is performed on the

Can my DTP-94 / DTP-94 PRO be recalibrated?
Yes. For the same modest fee, your DTP-94
can (and should) be periodically recalibrated to the same PRO
level to ensure it retains its initial accuracy. This service eliminates the
problems associated with exposure to the elements over time. We recommend

How does the DTP-94 compared to the
Chroma 5?
Performance wise the DTP-94 sits squarely between the
Display 2/LT and the
Chroma 5, though it is more along the lines of the
Chroma 5 in terms of components.
The Chroma 5 was designed off the
DTP-94 and as such, the specifications are very similar. The DTP-94 is the best performing consumer
class colorimeter you can get with read speeds similar to the
Chroma 5. Both the Chroma 5 and DTP-94 are
temperature compensated.
Calibrating Front Projectors
For best accuracy, we recommend calibrating front projectors by
taking readings directly off the screen. For a modest fee a
universal front projection kitt
is also available that includes a tripod mount and an opal glass diffuser for
those who prefer the higher light levels available from direct lens readings.
However, when taking readings in this mode, you should always color correct the
results from an offset created by taking readings from the screen without the
diffuser.

Instructions:
- Download the .zip file to your PC.
- Unzip the contents, which is an .iso DVD image file, to
your hard drive.
- Double-click the .iso file.
- If you have DVD burning software (e.g., Nero Burning
ROM), the file will open.
Set the image type to DVD (not CD) if necessary.
- Insert a blank, writable DVD into your DVD burner, and
then burn the image.
