Hey everyone! Been a while since I've posted (and Curt, I still owe you a Krispy Kreme donut for your help last time!). Anyway I am working on the Ampro again, and will probably have multiple questions soon . But to start, does anyone have the missing pages from the downloadable Ampro 4600 manual (pages 7.13 and 7.14), it appears they would contain the remote codes from 57 on up. If not, does anyone have these codes?

They are all listed in the help menu of the 4600

Thank you papalek Now try this one- I am just starting the initial setup procedure using the help screens, and the green help text is out of focus in the center of the tube (when I peer into it). Some of it near the edges is focused, but not in the middle. The red and blue help text is focused. I haven't experienced this in the past. Any ideas? The machine has been running for hours, and the text isn't fluctuating in size, or focusing and defocusing.

well i tried with the external test patterns on the Avia DVD, with the hopes that it was an internal test pattern problem, but still the same thing- defocused green tube except at the very top and bottom of the raster. it definitely wasn't doing this last week. does this mean my tube is shot?

Defocussed on the tubeface itself would seem to indicate an issue with either your electronic focus controls, or you mechanical astig flare magnets.
Swap focus control plugs between green and blue or red if they are the same plugs, and see if the problem follows to the other tube, if so, you've narrowed it to your focus board(if there's such a thing in an Ampro....).

Have you tried the electronic focus? Code 98 or 99.
