A while back I asked if anyone could replace the faulty chip that came on my NEC DVI card. I had some people volunteer to help me out but I had some major issues come up and now things are better.

Well now I have an HD DVD player and I need it fixed, but I can't find the names of the kind souls who offered to help.

My hands aren't steady enough anymore, nor do I know which chips need replacing. I have the chip/chips that Moome sent me though.

Any Takers! Beer for payment!!

Clay

Maybe it's a snake. Earl, do snakes have fur?

Clay,

If you mail it to me complete with a return shipping label, I'll do it for you. I do have the proper soldering equipment for this. Takes me all of 5 minutes. Mr. Green

Marc, Moome sent me two chips. Are there two that need replacing, and do you know which ones? Smile

PM me your address and I'll send it out tomorrow.

The EDID is one chip. But send both just in case. I can look at it. But if you have an ISS card, it's ONE chip.
