* Why is the EXT-HD ~ $100 cheaper than the built-in versions, when it has 2 HDMI inputs and extra costs like case, power supply, BNC outputs, etc?

* I've basically asked this before but I'm still trying... Users have reported great improvements in PQ from the built-in Marquee VIM-HD. Is this purely because of the digital input, or does the VIM-HD benefit from bypassing the Marquee's RGBHV inputs? If so, does that mean the VIM-HD is going to look better than the EXT-HD (which still has to go through the RGBHV inputs) ?

* How long of HDMI cables are people using with their VIM-HD & other built-in cards, and has anyone noticed any problems with handshake, sparklies, etc?

Tnx!
Gary

Not entirely sure of all the parts of the question, but Moome has said the following:

The Marquee VIM-HD and Sony IFB-HD "Use an external high precision video DAC, producing an image that will a little sharper than the EXT-HD external version."

(Taken from the order page for both cards)

The VIM HD doesn't bypass any components in the marquee other than the RGB BNCs. And yes they are more expensive because of the higher end components used.
