Hello, the lack of sharpness of my Blue CRT in my NEC 6PG has been bugging me. It is mostly the corner focus. One of the corners is as good as the center, however the rest are not so good. I know it is not an optical issue, since I can turn down the contrast and the focus will be good. I have the blue defocus turned off, in hopes of getting a sharper picture. I play games on the projector that use text in the corners, so the out of focus blue is noticable. Is this normal, or could it be an issue with the focus board or?

Thank!

This would be extremely odd. I seriously doubt that if you turn down the contrast, the other three corners are as sharp as the one sharp corner. It is more likely the difference between them decreases which makes sense. The first thing is to do a good optical set up then do your CPC magnets. See this:

Yea the difference between them decreases. I haven't messed with the CPC magnetics, so I could try that.
