Yesterday While watching the beginning of the matrix 2 I noticed flicker on the dvd.Its most noticeable in a dark scene. I tried uping the refresh rate to 72 hz at 960p but it doenst seem like my projector can display that high. Right now its at 60hz. I tried going lower and theres way too many scan lines and its still there. I dont understand how people can like 1080I theres so many scanlines and flicker when I switched to that.

I then tried 720p at 72hz but im still seeing scanlines and flicker in the dvd. So now Im confused at what I should be running at or if its just zoomplayer or the actual dvd.

Anyone have any idea?

Something is not right, scan lines should not be noticeable at 720P on that PJ and you should be able to go as low as 48Hz without flicker.

I see scan lines on my 6PG at 1360x768 or "768p"(only when I am close to the wall). So it is definitely possible you are seeing scan lines. I don't see flicker on mine, however the only source I have ever used is an Xbox 360 via VGA. If I look up real close the scan lines do look a little flickeryish, but I think that is just because of the analog connection. I bet if I bought an HD Fury it would go away. I don't know if this is the same thing you are seeing.
