TV/Projector: All of them!

Here's another typical scam auction, contact only through outside of eBay, blah blah. I recognize the images from an old legit eBay auction.

BUT... check out the one high bidder's ID. Hilarious! Anyone we know here that will confess to that ID?

I love it! I wished I was so clever. I wonder why these scammers always want buyers to contact them off Ebay, a dead giveaway of a scam. Wouldn't they get more money if they tried to make the auction appear as legitimate as possible?

The real (human) tragedy is the fact that an eBay seller with 5200+ feedback can have fallen for the phishing schemes that result in a hijacked account.

Yeah. Look at the seller's previous auctions -- it's all low-dollar cosmetics and skin-care items. The items are all in the UK. There is no "email me" scammery going on.

Now suddenly they start listing a whole bunch of expensive electronics, located in "Pula, United States" (!?), and you have to contact "MrSell99@aol.com" so he can cancel the items??

I'm sure it's legit....... NOT!!

I sent the account owner an email warning them of the scam listings. Hopefully the scammer doesn't intercept it. Smile
