wierd marquee neck card???

Have you guys ever seen this before the socket is a different shape then normal??? Why would they do this and can i just cut the socket to fit properly? ( marked in red )I have circled what i mean in the pic (yellow)

that's a normal 9 inch VNB. IT's not unusuall for people to Dremel out that little notch in order to fit an 8" tube.

Hello

It is a nine inch neckboard but it is modded for another kind of tube, for an LUG perhaps, note that Pin 6 is drilled out.

wow, good catch tim. Voodoo if your running a stock Marquee tube then this situation requires some caution. If this is for those flea bay Lugs then your probably ok.
Remember, if you ever have a problem and start a machine with run-away G2 (tube blasting away at full output, do not panic and turn the machine off. Reach down the behind the blue and unplug that little P14 connector instead.

I am the one who modded the neck card. I was just curious if there was a copper trace in that section that i did not know about
