Well I have progressed one more step and finally have enough pieces to put my 8000 together.
So I put in the tubes hook up the neck boards start making some connections and then I'm like what the heck?
How come the red tube has an extra set of wires?
Turns out the Focus coil on the red tube I got has an extra connector on it.
It is Type:9251.51
My other coils are Type: 9250.06 and only have one connector on them.
The extra connector has four wires that seem to be
White Blue(Purple?) Blue Gray
What is the extra connector for? I don't think there is anywhere in my M8000 to connect it to, but can it be left unconnected?
Or should I be swapping coils?

So I can just leave it disconnected?
From what I have read that means it is a better coil is that right?
But still nothing very special, but according to the Frankenyoke thread I should hold on to it.

It has the Astig coils in it while the other coils you have are only dynamic and static coils. the Astig helps make the dot pitch rounder than just using the CPC magnets at the back of the tube. not sure if your software can handel astig coils or not but if you ever find a astig board you can add it and use that coild for better dot control/focus. Id pu that coil on your green tube and maybe add an astig board then try to find similar coils for the blu and red later. However it will still work fine the way it is. Just some Options for you.
