Marquee 9500 blue tube G2 problem...Help!!

try resoldering the mini rca plugs on your Vim. I had a similar problem where my red tube would sometimes go out i'd smack the PJ in frustration and it lit up. so when i was doing some mods to my old vim I was studying the board and noticed a fine crack on the solder of the one mini rca. reflowed the solder and now that problem has not come up again. Just something to look at.

Well I'd hoped that my problem was going to be this simple, but no such luck. I reflowed the solder on the blue mini-RCA and it's still not lighting up. I swapped the Blue and the Green again to verify that the problem was still following the VIM lead, and it is. I suppose I should just suck it up and buy a new VIM, but do any repair ideas come to mind?
