i thought i read on this forum somewhere that curt recomended moving the pj ahead 14" from the factory specs. i have a 89" screen. specs show about 120". what is the best spot.

Generally it's 5-7 % closer than the rated. However the best way to do it is to run the signal into the projector, get it close to the edges of the tubes by looking into the lenses ( use sunglasses or turn the brightness and contrast down ). Don't allow the image to go off the tube face. This can cause tube failure.

Then move the projector forward and backward until the image fits your screen.
