Yes well...
Didn't work out after all, at a closer look the LCD had uno dead blue pixel right smack dead centre of the screen. Upon Googling investigation found out it cost way to much to fix. Also the lamp only had 18 hours on it but was way to dim for a new 3000 lumens globe. He obviously took it out, and put it back in which reset the counter, and then ran it for 18 hours to make it look "genuine" - another scammer. Lucky he lives close and we where able to get my money back.
Turned me off Lcd's, just don't trust them. Spend some $9000 on a good one and 24 months later you get dead pixels? No thanks.
And the picture? My Sony 47" Crt rear projection makes this so called new technology look like utter garbage.
If I have to wait for a monster big Crt then so be it, i'll just build a trolley for it. I have been doing convergence on these things for a long time, over 20 years so that's ok.
I am looking at one now - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=300195834953&_trksid=p3984.cWAT.m240.lVI
What do you think guys?
Cheers! - Henk
