Email Moome directly instead of PM'ing him: moome@curtpalme.com.
He's having problems accessing this site he tells me (Which hopefully will be solved in July when he moves).

Did you ever hear back from Moome? I didn't answer earlier but my unit has the power off bug/(also doesn't change inputs when the power off doesn't work. Turning my receiver off and on does get it going for me but that's not the most convenient approach.

Sometimes it will start responding again after a while. On my particular unit the power pin has become loose and I frequently lose power if I touch the box so that I am leary of anymore unplugging it there. I suppose I can live with it; maybe the solution is to get a new receiver with HDMI switching to replace my existing Pioneer so that I can do away with the need to switch the Moome box. That seems like an extravagent solution to a minor problem - but it will also give me HD audio for Blue Ray as at the moment I have to listen in NEO-6, whatever that is.

I forgot about this thread. I never did email him directly. Instead, I just leave the thing on all the time. I only have 1 HDMI cable into it, so I don't really ever have to mess with the box.

Thanks for finally replying. I was still having the power off problems - but the receiver on/off has worked fine for me as a work around.

My bigger problem is all types of sync problems with my Marquee 81110+.

If I leave the setup running for a while eventually once things heat up I can reliably sync at 1080i. After overnight I can sync at other rates like 480i/720p.

Then I started noticing horizontal banding (like the ringing but a lot longer fades) at 1080i

I was wondering if it was the Moome box acting up or the boards in the projector. So tonight I hooked the Moome box output to a regular VGA LCD monitor and all is fine at all resolutions.

So it looks like it really is the projector. Last time I unsocketed all the ICs on a couple boards and hit them with de-oxit; don't think keeping doing that is really going to solve my problem.

And I wonder if a problemmatic Marquee 81110+ (somewhere like 17000 hours) is really worth fixing. So I guess its time to either send the boards out for a check or put the projector up on Ebay and let someone else fix it. Wife really wants it down and replace with a light bulb anyway.

And I thought dealing directly with Moome was tough due to the Language barrier.
