Hey all .

Im running a G70 and love my screen big so when i built this place i mounted the projector as far back as possible and bought myscreen according to size it made on the wall which is 3 meters .

Since then i have come to like a smaller picture by about a meter to bring my screen down to 2 meters wide .

Im running a BluRay PS3 into it via component at the moment but have ordered a Moome HDMI card off this website so will imagine in about a month ill be watching it in better quality through HDMI . Now ive heard that if i run at 1080P , the G70 has trouble scanning 1080P lines so picture gets a bit overlapped ??? . If i shrink down the pictue onto about 2/3rd of the raster , am i trying the impossible on getting 1080P lines into that small space .

I realise using less of the tube face is going to wear it out quicker but im planning on getting a new blue and green tube eventually but untill i do i am not going to try and shift the projector .

Thanx and would love to hear thoughts on doing this .

Adam .

You probably would be better with 720p or 1080i72 in this situation.

Don't shrink the raster move the projector closer. A few of the guys say the G70 can handle 1080P though not fully resolved it still looks great.

Maybe Brainhampton will tell you about his experiences.
