I am setting up a runco dtv991 and having problems. I am installing on ceiling with 100" screen. It was set up for front floor mount with 60" screen. I reversed the scan ok, but the focus rings are not cooperating. if if change the screws to the 100" hole, I can't get the guns lined up. They were in the 60-300 hole. Also, I don't see how to adjust knobs A B. the index is there but there is nothing to move that I can see. It also talks about 12.4 degrees. I have no idea what angle it is set to or how to change it. The screen is bent pretty bent and can't be adjusted electronically. I read thru Curt's manuals, but I need a better starting point. HELP

as far as i can tell, focus adjusting knobs a and b are not there. i can see in between the crt and lense and there is no k nobs a and b. i believe this is my problem. i cannot get dimensions set properly. it needs a major keystone adjustment,
i am assuming the focus rings could help this. i could use some help. anybody?

Are you looking for tabs between the lens and the metal frame that it mounts too?

Maybe it's a snake. Earl, do snakes have fur?

Heh, have you ever set up an NEC? It's like a whole new experience. Great picture, but they can be confusing as hell.

Runco used HD8 lenses instead of the 144s and continuous Scheifpflug adjustments which actually makes it EASIER to set up than the stock NEC..Smile Lens toe-in is the same as on the NECs and other projectors. Master raster shift are in the service menus in the reference menu.

this thing is getting the best of me. after 6 days it is worse now that when i started. except the picture is at least right side up. every other day when i turn it on, it is way off. i mean, now the picture is actually 1ft past the edges of the screen.what the ****. i am beginning to think there is something wrong with it. i can't get the edges focused at all. i did have the size adjusted and the cross pattern looking fair. the next day, nothing. i though i was saving the settings. i wish there was someone is central wisconsin that could help me with this.
